1. Who we are. Wine Exam Trainer ("we", "us") operates wineexamtrainer.com and app.wineexamtrainer.com, an online study tool with practice questions, mock exams and open-question training for the WSET® Level 2 and Level 3 Awards in Wines. Contact: [email protected].
2. Independence. Wine Exam Trainer is an independent study tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. WSET® is a registered trademark of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, used only to identify the exams our material helps you prepare for. All questions, model answers and explanations are original works. Using our service does not register you for any official exam and does not guarantee any exam result.
3. Your account and acceptable use. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login secure. Accounts are personal; sharing an account or reselling access is not permitted. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute or resell our questions, model answers or other content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions and payment. Paid plans are: a monthly subscription (€7,99 per month, renews automatically until cancelled) and a 6-month plan (€29,99, one payment, does not auto-renew unless stated otherwise at checkout). Prices include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle (paddle.com), which acts as the seller of record: Paddle handles checkout, billing, VAT and payment data. Paddle's own terms apply to the transaction. You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
5. Free content. Selected chapters and one mock exam per level are available free of charge, without an account. We may change the scope of free content at any time.
6. Intellectual property. All content in the service (questions, explanations, model answers, software, design) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own exam preparation while your access is active.
7. Availability and changes. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the paid service entirely during your paid period, you will be refunded pro rata for the unused period.
8. Liability. The service is provided "as is" for study purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Governing law. These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
12. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page or by email. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
